Associate Attorney - Construction & Civil Litigation

Irvine, California | Hybrid Schedule

A respected litigation practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience to join its Irvine office. Position Highlights

  • Hybrid schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day remote
  • Salary: $195,000 to $220,000, depending on experience

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal filings
  • Handle law and motion practice
  • Manage discovery and document review
  • Assist with case strategy and client communications
  • Collaborate with partners and litigation teams
  • Manage cases from inception through resolution

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active California Bar admission
  • 3 to 5 years of litigation experience
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Experience with California civil procedure, discovery, and motion practice
  • Excellent analytical and communication abilities

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following areas is highly valued:

  • Construction litigation
  • Change order disputes
  • Delay and disruption claims
  • Mechanic's liens
  • Public and private works matters
